As part of the celebration for the arrival of Patrizia Moroso, the Art Director of famed Italian furniture company Moroso, in Australia, PR agency Oliver and York was enlisted to provide PR services for a unique collaboration between Moroso and seven top Australian fashion designers.
The designers, Akira Isogawa, Gorman, Steven Khalil, Martin Grant, Crumpler, Nobody Denim, and Kuwaii, were chosen for their distinctive aesthetics and positive contributions to the fashion industry in Australia.
The designers were tasked with upholstering two iconic Moroso chairs, the Smock and Take a Line for a Walk, using fabrics from their current or previous fashion lines. The finished chairs were displayed at Hub Furniture's showrooms in Melbourne and Sydney, Moroso's exclusive stockist in Australia.
This collaboration showcases Moroso's unconventional vision and creativity and aligns with their forward-thinking ethos.
Oliver and York successfully executed a highly successful PR campaign that achieved mass coverage across Australia and generated excitement and interest in the brand.
