In a season that has delivered on the promise to redefine home renovation, Australia's favourite TV show The Block, last night revealed the contestants state-of-the-art kitchens, with Official Suppliers Kinsman and The Good Guys helping contestants to set new standards in design and functionality, while featuring an array of clever and innovative appliances.

Kyle and Leslie's kitchen is a luxurious sanctuary of natural elegance. With timber-inspired Oak Woodgrain Kinsman cabinets and arched grey travertine-look counters, the design integrates a warm color palette and metallic Burnt Bronze Lip Pull handles. The 3.5-meter-long island serves as both a gathering spot and a cleaning zone, while the integrated sink, Electrolux dishwasher and Vintec wine fridge, combine in a seamless blend of form and function.
“We wanted to focus on functionality as well as good looks, explains Leslie. Our design aims to provide plenty of storage while celebrating a neutral colour palette with texture. We want to appeal to a range of buyers, from families to those who will use this room for entertaining.”

HOUSE 2: Leah and Ash
Leah and Ash's 'Micro Luxury' kitchen is a lesson in maximising style without compromising on functionality. The design features opulent Bottega Oak joinery, Champagne-look Soft Ziato Metallic doors, and Matt Black Ova Pull handles, all illuminated by Flexy LED Strip lighting. The 3-meter-long curved island includes a Hafele Gunmetal sink and tap, and integrated Smeg dishwasher, while the two Smeg Linea ovens, integrated Vintec wine fridges and a concealed pull-out pantry make for an entertaining win.
“We wanted to create a kitchen that is bold, sophisticated, and functional, says Leah. We love to inject colour into our designs, and this was no exception, we really wanted to create ‘wow factor’ as we know that kitchens sell houses.”

HOUSE 3: Kristy and Brett
Kristy and Brett’s kitchen is a redefines Classic Luxury. The light and bright look is achieved with a predominately white kitchen palette created with Fresh White Satin cabinetry from Kinsman paired with Matt White Knurled bar kitchen handles. The central island serves as a hub for dining and socialising while the expansive 5.5-meter back wall features integrated ASKO appliances, including four ovens and a fusion cooktop, as well as concealed fridges and Hafele Tandem Pantries. A unique touch is the 'Rise & Fall' splashback, offering easy access to kitchen essentials. The design also incorporates two Wine Climate Cabinets, making it a chef's dream and an entertainer's delight.
“We knew we wanted to create a style that was classic and minimal while also maximising access and usability, and being able to design the room and select the products in person had a big impact,” said Kristy.

Steph and Gian's kitchen exudes serenity and elegance through its Japandi-inspired design. Combining Kinsman's Porto Maple Woodmatt and Platinum Metallic cabinets with Timber handles, the kitchen offers a seamless blend of neutral tones and textures. The 3-meter island features premium Fisher & Paykel appliances including a minimal style Combination Steam Oven and a seating nook, while the back wall features an integrated cleaning area with a Fisher & Paykel Double DishDrawer™ Dishwasher, Gunmetal undermount sink, and a pull-out Dispensa Pantry for organised storage.
"Our kitchen is designed for those who love to cook and entertain, and I’m obsessed with the Fisher & Paykel appliances!” said Steph.

HOUSE 5: Eliza and Liberty
Eliza and Liberty's kitchen is a bold and visually striking space that commands attention. The design features an eye-catching orange Smeg Portofino Freestanding Cooker and Canopy Rangehood, set against Oyster Grey Matt joinery and Brushed Brass handles from Kinsman. The expansive 4-meter island and L-shaped layout offer ample storage and flow, highlighted by Cosentino Vk04 Grafite benchtops and dual splashback zones. With a focus on functionality, the kitchen includes Design Side drawers, a Cooking Agent unit, and a separate butler’s pantry for additional storage and organisation.
“We have zero experience in designing kitchens so the guidance from Kinsman was crucial for us, explains Eliza. We were able to play with colour and create a look that is modern and exciting- the pop of orange from our Smeg appliances mixed with the timeless grey joinery is perfect for what we wanted to achieve,” said Eliza.
